John Lloyd Cruz has pitched this tricycle booking app project in Cabuyao, Laguna.
A Facebook post by the City Information Office on Monday said that the actor had a meeting with city mayor Rommel Gecolea to present his plans on the supposed tricycle hailing app called Trike Now.
The app is expected to help address challenges faced by local commuters, especially those using the trike as their main mode of transport, according to a Facebook community page BayaniCa – Bayanihan sa Cabuyao.
The meeting was also attended by congressman Dan Fernandez, Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association (TODA) officers and other officials.
In other news, ABS-CBN Films confirmed that John Lloyd will be making his major onscreen comeback via his reunion movie with Bea Alonzo this year.
