Ex Battalion’s Flow G joins Gloc-9’s talent management outfit Asintada

Rapper Flow G has officially signed up with Gloc-9’s talent management company Asintada.

This means Flow G — Archie Dela Cruz in real life — will pursue solo projects under the wing of Asintada, which Gloc-9 runs with his wife Thea Pollisco.

Flow G will remain a member of the hip-hop collective Ex Battalion.

The development came a year after he collaborated with the Upuan and Sirena hitmaker on the song Halik.

In a media statement sent by Asintada’s Thea Pollisco to The STAR’s Latestchika.com on Thursday, February 4, they said they’re proud to welcome the rapper-singer to its roster of artists that also includes Shanti Dope.

“The year 2021 is looking good for Asintada Management and Production, Inc. as they welcome to their stable rapper/songwriter, Flow G, to their list of talents, joining the company of rap icon Gloc-9, new blood hitmaker Shanti Dope, and other notable talents Lirah, Jkris and Sandiwa.

“The Asintada Management prides itself in only handling the best of the best in the hip-hop scene and Flow G’s musical credentials show the making of another hip-hop superstar. In 2020, Archie de la Cruz, a.k.a. Flow G, took YouTube’s #1 spot as the best music video with his composition Araw-araw Love, topping the South Korean group Blackpink who came in second.

“With Filipinos’ continued patronage of Pinoy hip-hop and Asintada management’s support, Flow G’s career is expected to gain new heights. Welcome to the Asintada family Flow G!”
