Jolina Magdangal has reaction to namesake typhoon

Actress-host Jolina Magdangal is hoping her namesake typhoon will not cause damage to affected areas in the country. 

“Kung ako masusunod, gusto ko umulan ng butterflies. Stay safe everyone,” Jolina wrote alongside an ABS-CBN News card on Typhoon Jolina on Monday. 

Back in the ’90s, Jolina popularized colorful outfits, hairstyle and hair accessories, including butterfly clips. 

In the comments section, fellow celebrities and fans of the Magandang Buhay host also shared their reactions to the Jolina typhoon.  

“Sana cute din ung ulan! Hahahaha,” said Vice Ganda. 

“Aw aw aw please be good to us momshiejols,” wrote Melai Cantiveros. 

“Omgeee sana mahinahon lang yan Tulad mo ! 🍉🍇🍓🫐,” Karla Estrada commented. 

In a weather update by PAG-ASA at 11 am on Tuesday, Typhoon Jolina made landfall over Dimasalang, Masbate.

Storm signals were also raised in parts of Luzon and Visayas.
