After being linked in dating rumors, actress Andrea Brillantes and athlete-actor Ricci Rivero are now confirmed to be in a relationship.
Ricci, University of the Philippines’ shooting guard, rose to Twitter’s trending topics on Saturday night after publicly asking Andrea to be his girlfriend following their team’s winning game against Far Eastern University.
After thanking the UP Maroons’ supporters, Ricci asked Andrea who was among the Mall of Asia Arena crowd the question: “Can you be my girlfriend?”
Videos on social media showed the actress picking the T-shirt with the “Yes” word written on it and gushing afterwards.
Ricci : I just want to ask Blythe, can you be my girlfriend?

Andrea, meanwhile, posted a photo of herself widely smiling while wearing the “Yes” shirt and holding a bouquet of flowers.
