Gil Morales, a.k.a Ate Gay, appeared to have buried the hatchet with fellow comedian and TV host Vice Ganda.
In a recent Instagram post, Ate Gay posted a photo of him in an embrace with Vice Ganda which he captioned: “Love love love”.
The two reunited at the concert of comedian group Beks Battalion at the New Frontier Theater on August 26, 2022, where they were both special guests.
Meanwhile, fans, in the comments section, were happy to see the two finally make peace with each other.
To recall, Vice Ganda cried foul when Ate Gay exposed and apparently questioned the financial assistance the former gave him when he was hospitalized in 2021.
“Sabi ko tumulong na ako ng kusa, ayoko ngang magpa-acknowledge kaya hindi ko sinasabi pero yung nilabas mo ‘yung pangalan ko, tapos inokray pa ako ng mga ano, ‘bakit P20,000 lang binigay. Nasaktan ako talaga,” admitted Vice Ganda in an episode of Showtime.
He added, “Pag hindi ka tumulong, ang sama-sama mo. Pag tumulong ka, kikuwestiyonin pa kung bakit iyon lang ang tinulong mo. That hurts so much.”
Ate Gay later revealed in an interview with Ogie Diaz that he reached out to Vice Ganda to offer his apologies.
